- CorroSpray Combustion Wire Spray Torch

The CorroSpray Torch is an equivalent to the 11E Combustion Wire Spray Torch. This wire torch is engineered for soft-wire applications. The torch runs at higher speeds with excellent coverage and is sought after for “Galvanizing” and other corrosion-resistant coatings or Tin and Babbitt coatings. This is a very effective tool for coating or repairing various metals in severely corrosive environments. Our entire line of WireJet torches is perfect for hand-held, fixed or mobile applications.
The CorroSpray Torch is a lightweight wire spray torch that uses an air turbine to draw wire in, melt it with fuel gas and blast the molten particles on to the substrate. This torch is convenient for hand-held or start/stop operation due to the wire-feed thumb trigger. This torch will not spray harder materials such as Stainless Steels, Nickel, Bronzes, Copper or Bondrite. See our brochure for more information. The CORROSPRAY Torch is designed to run at higher speeds allowing the user to apply soft wire material to any substrate efficiently and economically.
It can be used for smaller jobs as well as cranking out large-area applications almost as easy as spray painting. It sprays 1/8” (3.17mm) and 3/16” (4.76mm) soft metalizing wires such as zinc, aluminum, lead, tin, and Babbitt, with low melting points. Converting from one size of wire to another is quick and easy.CORROSPRAY Wire Spray Torch Features:
- An improved version of the torch’s siphon jet gas head produces high spray rates, low gas consumption and extreme resistance to backfire and its effects.
- Nozzle-to siphon plug seals are “O” Rings, instead of being lapped surfaces, which are difficult to maintain.
- The gas head valve provides a long service life with limited maintenance. Worn or damaged valve parts are easily replaced.
- New-design nozzle and air caps provide excellent coatings at very high spraying speeds and without loading.
- The nozzle, siphon plug, and front wire guide assemble as a unit that can be quickly and easily removed and replaced when changing wire size or servicing.
- The controlled power governor provides increased power and stability of wire speed.
- The drive rolls and wire guides are made of hardened stainless steel for high resistance to wear and corrosion.
- A thumb-operated wire grip control starts and stops the wire feed. It is conveniently located for ease of operation.
- A simple, rugged wire snubber is incorporated in the wire from accidentally pulling out of the torch.
Uses: A wire gun used to spray at high speeds ONLY.
Pros: Its design allows for a smooth spray with soft materials.
Used with: Soft wires: tin, babbit, aluminum. You can also use zinc, and zinc/aluminum.
