Our PowderJet 85 Powder Spray Torch, Metco 5PII equivalent, is engineered to provide an economical solution for spraying combustion powder coatings. The simple design and torch-mounted hopper provide an easy to use tool that produces high-quality coatings, with very low maintenance.One of our most popular powder torches. This easy to operate torch has a built-in canister to hold the powders that are being sprayed. This torch will spray metal and ceramic combustion powders.

PowderJet 85 Combustion Powder Spray Torch is a thermal spraying torch used to deposit combustion thermal spray powders on to solid work surfaces. The powder to be sprayed is loaded in a hopper mounted on the torch, then fed by gravity through a metering valve into an aspirator chamber where it’s melted into fine particles and propelled by air towards the work surface. With this model, the deposit efficiency is very high meaning only a minute amount of the powder is lost by being blown away or consumed in the flame. Sprayed coatings are typically very dense and uniform.The torch can be operated both manually as well as held in a tool post for automated production. The design of the torch is such that it can spray a wide variety of powders without changing the nozzle.
